I'm explaining credit card transactions.
Occasionally I have a personal expense on the card. What is the best way to deal with this? If I "delete this transaction", does that throw my balance off? (as in impossible to reconcile?) Or would I need to offset the transaction by paying the money back?
I'm a sole proprietor.
Please advise.
Dealing with personal expenses on the company credit card (sole prop) - "delete this transaction?"

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for getting in touch.
If this is a business credit card you need to explain any personal transactions as Directors loan account.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,

Hi Charissa,
How do I explain it in the Directors loan account. I don't think I have that. I suppose that I should correct my first post, I'm set up under the "universal" setting because I am in Canada.
Attached is a screen shot of what I am looking at.
I bought some shoes for my wife and I didn't want her to see the credit card statement so I used my business credit card.
