Reporting on income categories

Freeagent comes with just one income category - sales.
I lease a server to host websites so that is an expense and I use web hosting as the expense category.

I have created a new income category also called web hosting to record all payments I get from clients for hosting their websites. Can I do a report to show how much income I have received from web hosting? If so how would I do it?

    Hi Dave,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    You have certainly done what I would have suggested in creating new income categories and these are reported individually on your Profit and loss account so you and your accountant can clearly see how much income you have received for each category.

    If you go to Accounting > Profit and Loss, this is where you will see this information.
