Stupid question - but how do I set up personal drawings?

This article from our Knowledge Base explains how to deal with money in (capital introduced) and money out of a partnership (i.e. drawings): http://www.freeagent.com/support/kb/b...

Basically when you explain the money taken out of your business bank account you explain this as Money Paid to User > Select User > Reason: Drawings

Thank you once again for your prompt reply. I like the look, feel and usability of your system, I'm just struggling to convince my wife who has been using MYOB for years to convert. She also is not that happy with the £20 a month / £240 a year and I can see her point especially as we have been trading on and off for over 15 years which will equate to £3600 for a piece of software we don't actually own!

She also has concerns about our information being on somebody else's system.

I'm trying my best to convince her of the benefits but as I said it's a struggle!

Next stupid question - How do I alter the Invoice number so that it continues from our existing system (which will be 00804) and runs consecutively irrespective of client.

Hi Paul,

If you change the most recently created invoice number to the number you require, what happens is that FreeAgent remembers the last number in sequence then generates the next invoice with a reference number 1 up from that - so for example, if your last invoice was 501 and you are using global level invoice sequencing, FreeAgent will create the next invoice as number 502.
